Each of these 5 arithmetic skills programs has 10-15 learning sections with audio. Each math learning section has 20-30 interactive practice screens. Each section has a mirror-image printable worksheet for pencil and paper work - and many extras such as "brain teasers".
These programs automatically "bookmark" the student's last viewed screen and will prompt the student to return to that screen upon their return.

Kindergarten math students may begin with this 1st program in the "Arithmetic Software Series", the "Number Sense" program which is divided into 3 levels of difficulty including advanced numeration concepts. Each level concludes with a review which can be scored, printed, and used for placement or evaluation purposes. Additionally, per your requests, we have included worksheets for every section. You print the worksheets as needed for class or homework reinforcement. The introductions and explanations on the worksheets mirror those in the program and the questions are the same with different numbers. This is a complete learning system. Audio assistance is available on demand for early readers.

Level #1 contains: "What is Addition?", "Sums through 10", "Symbols and Vocabulary", and "Sums through 18". These first grade math worksheets are for students of any age who need to learn addition skills. Level #2 contains: "2-Digit Addition", "Learn to Carry", "3-Digit Addition", "4-Digit Addition", and "5-Digit Addition". Students will learn to add with "re-grouping" or "carrying". Continue to learn addtion by using addition skills in word problems which are scattered throughout the program. Each level of this addition skills software program concludes with a review which is scored by the computer and can be used either as a pre-test for placement purposes or as a post-test for evaluation. Students learn subtraction from a variety of perspectives - counting, eliminating, graphing followed by practice, practice, practice. Once the basic subtraction concepts are learned, this math software program moves on 2-3-4-and-5-digit subtraction with borrowing - each step of the process is presented and practiced. Every screen is scored for immediate response to the student. Every four sections concludes with a comprehensive review. Extras include printable practice drills in addition and subtraction. Worksheets are printable for additional practice and reinforcement -- use as classwork or homework. Problem solving worksheets help the students learn to critically discern the differences between addition and subtraction. Worksheets include critical thinking discussions and practice about temperature, vocabulary (horizontal, vertical), figural analysis and analogies, mazes, morse code, classification practice, comparison of 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional figures, and reading coins (money).

Math software to teach math multiplication -- The multiplication facts are learned in a variety of ways - First the student studies the 1, 2, 5, and 10 multiplication facts by counting, then by multiples, then in multiplication tables. Follow up each computer math practice of the math facts with multiplication worksheets. The second group of multiplication facts are the 3 and 4 facts - with multiplication problems that point out the association between addition and multiplication. With each level, the student fills in even larger multiplication tables. The next multiplication lesson is the 6, 7, 8, and 9 multiplication facts. Once the student has practiced all these facts, they are given the opportunity to show their achievement in a variety of multiplication tables. Use the printable multiplication worksheets for class work or homework to reinforce the multiplication lessons and math facts in the software program. Blank multiplication tables are printable from the multiplication worksheets for additional math practice.
This is the 4th software program in the Arithmetic Series. Math facts are practiced within the program and also in multiplication worksheets. Division facts are introduced gradually and practiced comprehensively. Short division is practiced and followed by divisibility rules. Long division is introduced and practiced interactively.
Since long division is one of the most challenging arithmetic topics to be studied, students are given ample practice in this, the longest section in the program.
All sections have corresponding division worksheets, including long division worksheets.
